Hanging in the sky
I dream, I dream
Of sleepless nights
Under the shadow of the sun
Singing, singing, deep into the night.
Laughing, laughing, laughing at the sky.
Light. Darkness. Shimmering flickers.
Silence. Endless silence in the heart.
There is no other way to describe it-
A laughing, hugging silence
That dances in acknowledgement,
That is living, breathing and relieved.
Happy as a star
Shimmering in the sky.
